K-12 Teacher Survey for PhD Student Dissertation
Calling all preK-12 teachers! Would you be able to help our graduate research assistant, Katie Palmer, with a survey for her dissertation? Here’s a message from Katie:
Dear Teacher,
I write today to ask for your participation in a study that may lead to understanding variables that exist for teachers and students struggling with challenging behaviors.
According to the research, higher levels of psychological flexibility are positively correlated to reduced stress and burnout. Interventions that build psychological flexibility in children or adults are seen to decrease challenging behaviors in classroom and other school settings.
In hopes of contributing to this research, I have combined two existing measures to understand if there is a relationship between how teachers view challenging behaviors and their psychological flexibility.
This study is completely anonymous, and participants are being invited from across the country.
The survey should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. Please click this link to review the details of the study and participate in this research: https://lnkd.in/gpEmxQU9
I thank you very much for your support. Please feel free to write if you would like to see the research supporting this study, and the ideas mentioned above.
Sincerely,
Katie Palmer, M.Ed, BCBA
